But you can also feel the after-effects for a few hours or a few days before fully recovering. You might feel better after vomiting, and symptoms will generally end once you get out of the vehicle. After a few days of exposure to the motion, you will likely adapt. Testing is not required for diagnosis of motion sickness since you will probably know if you are experiencing it.
